Now the hard work starts

Following the victory of Measure A, we are now shifting gears to the work ahead. Given the hard work and enthusiasm in getting the Measure passed, we cannot rest with a victory alone. Our focus going forward is to be part of the process and ensure that the promise of Measure A, to build a vibrant downtown, remains.

Getting closer to victory

Morgan Hill Times update at 11pm tonight

Vote YES on A!

Election day has arrived, and you all know the reasons why we support the Measure (just see below).

So the only thing left to do is to VOTE.

Measure A is about downtown housing

Signs encouraging voters to Vote NO on Measure A to save the Granada Theater have sprung up all over town overnight. We want voters to know that there is NO connection between Measure A and whether the Granada Theater should be saved or not. These are two separate issues. Measure A relates only to downtown housing and the issue related to the Granada Theater is a separate City Council decision.

Up for a weekend walk in your neighborhood?

The committee is looking for more people to walk their neighborhoods this weekend. Door hangers and lists of registered voters are available at BookSmart. It's easy.

1. Visit BookSmart at 80 E. Second St. in Morgan Hill
2. Pick up some door hangers and a list
3. Walk your neighborhood
4. Help push Measure A over the top

If you can get 10 people to vote yes on A, you can claim credit for the victory. (That's what it lost by the first time).
